A Rough Time

The last year or so has really been rough on the neighborhood. We have seen friends move away. We have had several divorces. People have been forced from their homes. There was a brutal murder. Several families have been shattered. Marriages (and friendships) have been strained to the breaking point.

And yet through it all, we have managed to hang together. I have lived in several different neighborhoods in the region, but this place is by far the best. No matter how hard it has been, we have been there for each other. My wife mentioned the other day that it almost seems like we are under attack - and maybe we are. All I know for sure is that there is no where else I would rather live.

Thanks neighbors! You are the best (even you Jack-Sean).
