Did have a few set backs painting this weekend. My can of spray-on texture was too old, my roller pan was dented (making the middle of the roller too "wet") and the roller covers were too short. Our walls have pretty heavy texture, particularly around the fireplace so I need a roller with at least 5/8 nap.
Of course my spackle was too old also, but then it usually is. I just don't paint often enough to keep some of this stuff usable. BTW, "spackle" wasn't in my spell-check dictionary :)
