A teenager I know recently got a really good job working in the career field they are going to school for, getting a decent rate and good hours. Pay day arrives and instead of a check they get a handful of $10 bills and are told, "this is how I do it, you have to handle taxes and stuff on your own because I don't do that."
People are crooks. Fortunately the teen is bright and suspicious and started making some phone calls. It is a shame as jobs are hard to find these days and the teen really liked the job...
