Last Day

Today is the last day that I can say I am in my 40's. Tomorrow I officially cross over into the second half-century of my life (got a membership application to AARP in the mail last week - I tossed it). As I look back, I am content. I made a lot of mistakes (some horrific) but I can also see the hand of God in my life over and over. I have a wonderful wife and 8 marvelous children (plus a son-in-law, a S/O and a grandson).

Speaking of my wonderful wife, next week also marks the 9 year anniversary of our marriage. Again, I am content. For all the trials that we have been through, I can honestly say that I love my wife more today than when we got married. I am looking forward to growing old together.

blessings on your day
